Utah Film Club
Code of conduct
Utah Film Club exists so people can make films together. Every member agrees to:
- Respect people on set and online. Harassment, discrimination and abuse lead to removal.
- Post honestly. Calls show real compensation; credits reflect real work.
- Pay fairly. Commercial projects offer paid, stipend or school-internship roles. Credit-only roles are for non-commercial and student projects.
- Never charge to audition or apply.
- Keep sets safe. Follow safety practices and stop work when something is unsafe.
- Protect minors. Members under 18 are managed by a parent or guardian, who approves applications and bookings. A guardian or designated adult is present at auditions and on set.
- Respect privacy. Contact details are shared only with booked team members.
Ad policy
Ads, sponsored listings and promoted posts are labelled and reviewed by an admin before they run. They never change organic ranking or verified credits.
- No adult content, weapons sales, gambling or political ads.
- No predatory schemes: pay-to-audition, pay-to-apply, fake casting or misleading offers.
- Nothing aimed at people under 18. Members under 18 are never targeted, and no ads appear on their profiles or on casting for minor roles.
- Targeting uses member type, department, school, city and experience only, never age, ethnicity or physical attributes. Members can turn targeting off.
Report anything that breaks these rules from the page it's on. Moderators can warn, remove content, suspend or ban; you're told the outcome and can appeal once. Copyright owners can send a copyright notice.
